Jiang Cheng tried not to barf as well because the sour, awful smell was getting into him. Instead, he let Jingyi sit on one of the nearby chairs and hurriedly ran to his office bathroom to remove his clothes. He soaked it in water with detergent and tried to wash it to remove the food particles sticking on his clothes before he threw the water and poured another batch with detergent again. He then properly soaked it and left it there before he decided that he didn't need any shirt for now. He would have a shower once he's done tending with the younger Lan. But seeing that Jingyi had soiled his clothes as well, he fished out some smaller shirt for him to use from his closet.
He then went back to where he left Jingyi with a wet towel on one hand and a fresh shirt on the other. He set the warm wet towel on the table beside where Jingyi was sitting along with the fresh shirt.
"Clean yourself up, Jingyi." He ordered the younger Lan before he goes to the back of the house to grab rags, a bucket and a mop to clean up the mess on the floor. Jiang Cheng shook his head frustration. He couldn't believe he was reduced into doing this.
But he couldn't abandon the younger Lan even if he wanted to.
