It's hot near the stage but He Xuan is already used to that - plus, it's not like he's wearing much anyway. His short pants cling to his skin as he climbs on the stage, sauntering to the pole mounted in the middle of it. One of the girls nods to him as she climbs down - it's his turn now and he intends to make the most of it. His high-heeled boots make him larger than most dancers in this establishment anyway, and he knows people will be looking.

A new song comes on and He Xuan tosses those thoughts out of the window with a flick of his long, dark hair. He is not supposed to crave revenge here, in the darkly red-lit place. He is supposed to dance - and dance he does, his legs wrapping themselves around the pole, his body suspended in midair with his shirt clinging to his shoulders. One of the straps starts to veer off on one side and he lets it slip, the disappearing fabric exposing more of his body underneath. Hei Shui, Black Water, almost smiles at the cheers when he arches his back and exposes his throat to the masses, his teeth bared in the resemblance of a smile.

None of them will refuse him anything, not when his hands hit the ground and his legs wrap tighter around the pole, pulling him halfway up from the ground again, his shoulders rolling down so he can get rid of his first layer of clothing. The thin shirt flutters to the ground, the one beneath black with silver stitches forming the skeleton of a fish.

Going down to management of course meant management showing off their best dancers to probably their highest paying customer that evening. Really, Shi Qingxuan didn't have to reserve the largest, most expensive VIP room and have an open, free-flowing tab on top of the consumables that came with the room. So of course management would like to show off their best assets.

The man in the suit next to Shi Qingxuan, in their fluffy green jacket and tight pants gestures to the performer currently on stage. Needless to say, Qingxuan was already enraptured. The manager next to them leans down to speak when Qingxuan shushes them. "Shh-- I'm watching."

They had the money, after all, so the manager lets them watch a little longer.
